DURA+ composite wear segments for mill rollers and tables are the OEM wear solution for ATOX raw material and coal mills. They include a ceramic element inducted into a hi-chrome base metal casting, delivering an extended lifetime at least twice (2x) that of traditional hi-chrome alternatives in the same operating conditions. This longer operating life eliminates the need for midcampaign stoppages for in-situ hard-facing or segment replacement. The resulting increase in mill uptime can effectively raise mill throughput by up to 100% across an annual production campaign. Less maintenance also cuts operating costs, while the need for fewer wear segments lowers inventory costs. Finally, reduced liner wear improves production consistency at the required quality compared to traditional hi-chrome liners.
